Traditional PE and VC operate on a fixed-term fund cycle. And when the clock runs out, they are forced to sell, even if it’s not the best moment.
5X builds businesses that compound. We acquire controlling stakes in B2B companies, take board control, and partner with management to allocate capital effectively, improve operations, and build durable, profitable growth.
This allows us to return capital through dividends — not just exits. And if a sale makes sense, we can sell. The decision — and the timing — are ours.

We focus on cash, not paper returns — our incentives are aligned to both DPI and IRR. As each portfolio company becomes a liquidity engine, we target full capital return through dividends at a minimum IRR.
