Lucho Torres

Founder & CEO

One of LATAM’s most experienced tech executives and investors. At Microsoft, he led product management for Office and SQL Server, served as Business & Marketing Officer across LATAM, and CEO of Microsoft Peru. At Scotiabank, he built and scaled digital banks across Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. As an investor, he acquired Peru’s largest IT services company and founded AVP Ventures, the first VC firm in Peru. Board experience spans technology, banking, mining, and digital media. Systems Engineer, Universidad de Lima. MBA, Harvard Business School.

Gonzalo Pizarro

Head of M&A

One of Peru’s most promising venture capital investors and dealmakers. At COFIDE, he structured the country’s first VC fund-of-funds and led its inaugural investment in Salkantay Ventures. At Salkantay, he evaluated 100+ startups, led fund operations and impact investing, and represented the fund across the regional VC ecosystem. He now leads M&A, fund management, and portfolio growth at 5X Capital. He teaches Business Planning and Finance at PUCP, holds a VC specialization from Berkeley Law, and completed entrepreneurship studies at IE University, Madrid.
